14Apr2003 Relief aid for Afghan people

Riyadh, 14th April 2003

In accordance with directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz to provide the Afghan people with relief assistance, Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, the Interior Minister and Supervisor General of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Afghan People, has ordered the Committee to send one hundred tons of dates to the Afghan people.

The dates will be shipped from King Abdul Aziz Port of Dammam to Karachi, Pakistan, for distribution to poor Afghanis via the offices of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Afghan People.
