12Apr2003 Prince Majid passed away

Riyadh, 12th April 2003

Prince Majid bin Abdul Aziz, aged 69, passed away today, after suffering a chronic disease, the Royal Court announced.

A statement issued here said that funeral prayers will be performed at the Grand Mosque after Maghreb (sunset) prayers on Sunday, praying to Almighty God to bless the soul of the deceased Prince and reside him in paradise.

Prince Majid had occupied the posts of Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Governor of Makkah Region.
