The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the Islamic Solidarity Games in 2005, it was announced here on Friday.
These games, which will take place in Makkah and Madinah Regions, will include football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, handball, swimming, archery, horsemanship, fencing, weight lifting and table tennis.
Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, General President of Youth Welfare, Chairman of the Saudi Olympic Committee, and President of the Islamic Solidarity Federation, said that all the concerned committees are ready to host the event. He hailed its great role in strengthening solidarity between Muslim youth.
