10Apr2003 Shoura to resume discussions on income tax

Riyadh 10th April 2003

The Shoura (Consultative Council) will resume discussions on the issue income tax on Sunday at its regular session, held under the Chairmanship of Dr Salih Al-Humeid.

The Shoura will review the subject with its Financial Affairs Committee, which will present a response to the questions raised at previous sessions.

The Economic Affairs Committee will brief the Shoura on the system for mining investment in the Kingdom.

At its regular session on Monday, the Shoura will review a number of reports on the performance of Ministries and government bodies, including the Ministry of Public Works and Housing for the fiscal year 1421/1422, the annual report of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund for the fiscal year 1420/1421, and reports on the performance of the National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development (NCWCD) and Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) for the year 2001.
