Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General, on Wednesday will inaugurate Al-Dawadmi Airport, which was constructed by a Saudi company at a total cost of SR142 million.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr Ali Al-Khalaf, the President of Civil Aviation, said that the Airport includes a number of buildings and public utilities, a 3000-metre runway, and a 39,000 square-metre landing zone with capacity for four aircraft to land simultaneously.
