The 6th Saudi International Exhibition on “Technology and Equipment of Printing, Plastic and Chemical and Petrochemical Industries for 2003” will open here on Sunday.
Over 120 local and international companies will participate in the five-day show, which is organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Company. Companies from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, the U.S., Japan, Germany, Turkey, China, the Netherlands, Belgium, Syria, Italy, Spain, India, France, Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Denmark, Thailand and Taiwan and several Saudi companies will participate in the show.
Mohammed Al-Husseini, Supervisor of Public Relations and Information at Riyadh Exhibitions Company said that the plastic, chemical and petrochemical industries constitute about 70% of industry in the Kingdom. He noted that there are 528 commercial printing press, 195 government printing press and 160 printing press for advertising and publicity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
