The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) recently held an Islamic Seminar for university students in Cameroon, which was attended by 107 students, according to Dr Abdulwahab Noorwali, WAMY Assistant General.
The Seminar focused on the role of university students in the betterment of society. It featured a number of programs aimed at enhancing awareness among the students, the majority of whom have very little knowledge of Islam.
Dr Noorwali said that the Seminar promoted many other values, including learning emphasizing Islamic moral values and coexistence between Muslims and non-Muslims. He pointed out that organization of this Seminar was part of WAMY programs designed to train youth and develop their skills for the service of their societies.
