The Saudi Minister of Finance and National Economy, Dr Ibrahim Al-Assaf, arrived in Beirut today for an official visit to Lebanon.
He was received at Beirut International Airport by Fouad Al-Sinyourah, the Lebanese Minister of Finance; Fouad Sadiq Mufti, the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, and a number of officials.
In a statement made upon his arrival, Al-Assaf said that the visit provides an opportunity to exchange views with the Lebanese leadership and review aspects of economic and financial cooperation between Riyadh and Beirut. He lauded Lebanon’s current financial and economic reforms.
For his part, Al-Sinyourah praised the support extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon in all fields, particularly financial and economic fields.
