The Ministry of Higher Education announced today that the number of Saudi students studying abroad has reached 15,516.
6,744 of these students are pursuing their academic studies abroad on government scholarships. The remainder of students are studying at their own expense.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Cultural Relations, Dr Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Ma’ejel, said that these students are studying in the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Austria, Japan, China, Russia, Canada, Australia, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
