Saudi Arabia has acquired a good reputation for providing five-decades of services and facilities that guarantee the security and safety of civil aviation, according to a senior Saudi official.
In an address at the opening session of the ministerial meeting to discuss security and safety, which began its five-day deliberations on Monday in Washington, Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Musaed, the Saudi Assistant Minister of Defence and Aviation for Civil Aviation Affairs, who headed the Kingdom’s delegation to the meeting, hailed the security and safety of the Kingdom’s airports. He addressed the session on behalf of Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minster of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General.
In his speech, Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Musaed said that Saudi Arabia has provided comprehensive services and advanced facilities in secure and safe conditions at its 25 airports, including 3 international airports, which serve over 30 million passengers. “This has gained the Kingdom the full trust of foreign aviation companies and passengers in general,” he added.
