The Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Consular Affairs, Ibrahim Al-Khorashi, said that, with effect from tomorrow, citizens could go directly to Saudi missions abroad to obtain entry visas for foreign employees. This renders unnecessary the procedure of initially seeking the approval of Foreign Ministry branches in the Kingdom before collecting visas from Saudi embassies and consulates abroad.
Al-Khorashi said that Saudi government agencies, private establishments, and individuals could obtain visas from Saudi missions abroad for foreigners whom they have recruited for work or invited for business without needing to go to Foreign Ministry headquarters. As soon as the Interior Ministry’s Department of Foreign Recruits or the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Labour Bureau issue a follow-up slip the visas in question will be available at Saudi embassies and consulates abroad, he said.
Al-Khorashi stressed the Foreign Ministry’s on-going endeavours to serve citizens and facilitate routine procedures.
