Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdul Aziz Foundation for Research and Archives, today presided over the Board’s meeting.
In a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the meeting, Secretary General of the Foundation, Dr Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Sammari, pointed out that the Board approved the convention of a scholars’ Symposium on Hajj in western literature, the establishment of a training course on local documents, and the formation of a documentation unit.
He noted that the Board expressed its appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz for his approval of the Foundation’s participation in UNESCO International Electronic Network for Dialogue between Civilizations.
