Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier, Commander of the National Guard and Head of the Kingdom’s delegation to Arab Summit meetings in Sharam Al-Sheikh, decided to postpone the introduction of his initiative to improve the Arab situation until the next Arab Summit meeting in Tunisia, in order to give Arab leaders the chance to confront the pressing issues of Iraq and Palestine.
This was announced by the Foreign Minister, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, in a press conference today, following the opening session of the Summit.
Prince Saud Al-Faisal stated that the Crown Prince also asked that introduction of the initiative be postponed to enable Arab countries to study the document carefully, as its implementation requires deep conviction and commitment by Arab countries.
