25Feb2003 Saudi official hails works of Hajj Research Centre

Makkah, 25th February 2003

Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Hussein, General President of the Affairs of the Holy Mosque of Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque, highlighted the achievements attained by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Hajj Research Institute, an affiliate of the Makkah-based Umm Al-Qura University, to promote services extended to pilgrims and those performing Umrah (the minor pilgrimage).

Al-Hussein stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Institute and the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Holy Mosque of Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque. He noted that the establishment of the Institute, which conducts studies on issues pertaining to the development of Hajj services, manifests the great attention accorded by the King to pilgrims.
