The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, greeted citizens, pilgrims and Muslims all over the world on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

“We live amidst the blessings of God. At this time, we are witnessing a large number of pilgrims performing their Hajj rituals in peace and security,” they said in a joint address to Arabs and Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

The joint address of King Fahd and the Crown Prince was read on their behalf by the Minister of Information, Dr Fouad bin Abdul-Salam Al-Farsy, which was broadcast by Saudi Radio and telecast by Saudi Television on Monday evening. In their joint address, the Saudi leaders said: “We are greatly honoured by the privilege of serving Muslims and the holy sites. We have exerted every effort to provide all necessary facilities and comfort to help pilgrims to perform Hajj. We pray to God to accept these efforts.”

“Eid is an occasion of happiness in accomplishing the noble principles of Islam, which govern relations among Muslims: these relations are based on joint cooperation,” the Saudi leaders noted. “We greet citizens, pilgrims and all Muslims on this happy occasion.
