10Feb2003 Pilgrims consume 100,000 cubic-meters of water in Arafat today

Arafat, Saudi Arabia, 10th February 2003

Pilgrims in Arafat today consumed 100,000 cubic meters of water. The General Supervisor of Hajj Affairs at the Ministry of Water, Abdullah Hasanain, said that the Ministry has provided the entire water needs of the pilgrims at the plains of Arafat.

”A Water Sprinkling System has been used to alleviate the impact of high temperatures. And all necessary facilities have been provided to enable the pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals in ease and comfort in Arafat,” he added.
