Two Tunisian newspapers have lauded the great attention accorded by the Saudi government to the service of pilgrims, and praised the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and the implementation of projects at the holy sites.

‘Al-Sharouk’ newspaper said that the Saudi government has spent over SR70 billion in the past two decades to implement expansion projects at the Two Holy Mosques and the projects to construct networks, tunnels, flyovers and other utilities at the holy sites.

‘Al-Sabah’ newspaper described the Madinah-based King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex as a great achievement, and said that the project of the Complex is part of the great attention provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Islam and Muslims. “The complex produced over 145 million copies of the Holy Quran between 1405 H and 1420 H, and it is planning to increase its production and distribution capacity in the future,” it added.
