121 Palestinian pilgrims, who constitute the first group of Palestinian pilgrims due to perform Hajj this year at the expense of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, arrived here on Saturday.
The King issued directives to invite 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims to perform Hajj at his own expense.
The pilgrims will be transported from the airports of Amman, Al-Arish, and Cairo. They were welcomed at King Abdul Aziz International Airport by a number of officials.
The Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hashim Al-Sheikh Deep, lauded the decision of the King to host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims at his own expense. He noted that this development comes in line with the Kingdom’s inalienable stance in support of the Palestinian cause.
