Mina, 8th February 2003

The pilgrims will on Sunday head for Mina to carry out the Tarwia (watering) day, in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him.

On Monday morning, the pilgrims will proceed to Arafat, where they will spend the entire day. After sunset they will return to Muzdalifa to spend the night. Arafat day is the most important of the Hajj rituals.

Early on Tuesday morning the pilgrims will return to Mina and then proceed to Makkah.

The relevant Saudi authorities have mobilized their potential to extend the best possible services to pilgrims, in accordance with the directives of Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard.
