06Feb2003 Quantity of pilgrims arrived in the Kingdom

Jiddah, 6th February 2003

The number of pilgrims who have arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia up to Wednesday 5 February 2003 amounted to 1,311,058.

The Director General of the Passport Department, Major General Abdul Aziz Sujeini, said in statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that 1,152,212, pilgrims have arrived by air, 135,871 by land, and 22,975 by sea.
