26Jan2003 571,622 pilgrims arrive in the Kingdom

Jiddah, 26th January 2003

The number of pilgrims that have so far arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounts to 571,622.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Director General of the Department of Passports, Major General Abdul Aziz Sajeini, said that 556,643 pilgrims had arrived by air, 9, 440 by land, and 5, 539 by sea.
