26Jan2003 Minister of Labour and Social Affairs lauds IIRO charitable works

Jiddah, 26th January 2003

The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Dr Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Namlah, lauded the efforts exerted by the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO), its role in promoting charitable works, and its participation in the development of Muslim communities.

He made remarks in this regard after the recent release of the IIRO annual report, which highlights its activities. The report disclosed that the IIRO has spent the sum of SR124,746,929 on charitable works and projects, benefiting 4,331,342 people from 95 countries.
