11Jan2003 Prince Sultan Bin Salman to open workshop on “Tourism Guidance”

Riyadh, 11th January 2003

Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Secretary General of the Higher Tourism Commission, will on Sunday inaugurate a workshop on “the offices of tourism guidance, services and public utilities on roads.”

The workshop, organized by the Higher Tourism Commission, will be attended by the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Dr Mohammed Al-Jarallah, and the Minister of Communications, Dr Nasser Al-Salloum.

Participants of the workshop will review proposals of the Higher Tourism Commission for tourist services. Dr Waleed Al-Humeidi, Supervisor of the program of environment and urban development, said that a number of officials from the Ministries of Rural and Municipal Affairs and Communications, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Tourism Committee, SASCO and SAPTCO would participate in the workshop.
