An official source on Thursday ruled out that a Saudi official visited Iraq last month to explore the possibility that Saddam Hussein accept to step down from power.
The source said: “The news item which was circulated by the mass media saying that a high level Saudi official visited Iraq last month to explore the possibility that Saddam Hussein accept stepping down from the power is not true.”
