The Interior Minister, Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, highlighted the significance of the 18th National Festival for Heritage and Culture, which is due to be inaugurated on Wednesday. He said that the major issue participants of the Festival would review is: “This is Islam”.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Wednesday, Prince Naif noted that this important issue would be discussed at a time when the world, particularly the Muslim world, is passing through critical circumstances. He said that Islam has become the target of vicious campaigns, adding: “It is hoped that the lectures due to be delivered at the National Festival will project the true principles of Islam and refute the false allegations. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will remain a source of blessing for mankind.”
