Undersecretary of the Riyadh-based King Saud University for Higher Education Studies and Scientific Research, Dr Khalid Al-Mahmoudi, highlighted Saudi-Yemeni cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research.
In a press statement published here on Tuesday, Al-Mahmoudi said that a memorandum of understanding would soon be signed between King Saud University and Zimar University in Yemen to enhance cooperation in various spheres.
Dr Al-Mahmoudi, who is currently on a visit to Yemen, said that he had discussed aspects of scientific and academic cooperation between Saudi and Yemeni universities with Dr Hussein Al-Eryani, President of Ta’ez University.
