The Company of Riyadh Exhibitions, in cooperation with the International Company of Iranian Exhibitions, will organize here on Sunday, 12 January, the fifth exhibition for Iranian industries and products. More than 90 Iranian companies will participate in the seven-day show.
The show is aimed at broadening the scope of cooperation between Saudi businessmen and their Iranian counterparts in economic, commercial and investment spheres. It will enable its visitors to become acquainted with the Iranian products, including carpets, foodstuffs, leather products, building materials, cars, spare parts, electric appliances, textiles and clothes, timber and paper products, and medical equipment.
Saudi exports to Iran in the year 2001 amounted to SR466 million, while the imports to the Kingdom from Iran in the same year amounted to the same sum. There were 18 Saudi-Iranian joint projects in 2001, with a capital investment of SR1.82 billion.
