Jubail Desalination Pipeline Project

Two pipelines 290 miles long (466 km) have been built to bring water from the desalination facilities in Jubail to Riyadh. These pipelines have a total daily capacity of 210 million gallons.

This project, commissioned in 1983, is typical of the innovative and ambitious manner in which the Kingdom has tackled the challenges it has faced.
