The NCWCD gives special attention to the education of the public in matters of conservation. The NCWCD publishes books, newsletters, posters and periodicals ("Arabian Wildlife" and "Oryx") and makes extensive use of newspapers and broadcasting (radio and television) to raise public consciousness and to educate the public about the value of the natural environment and the dangers that ensue from abuse of wild-life and other natural resources.
The NCWCD maintains an Information Department which includes a specialized library, a documentation unit, a geographical information center unit and computer databases. The Information Department's facilities are available to researchers and accredited organizations.
