9th April 2013 - Saudi Arabia denies surgical paralysis punishment sentence

The Saudi Ministry of Justice has emphatically denied reports that a man was threatened with surgically-induced paralysis as punishment for a stabbing incident ten years ago. I an official statement, the Ministry of Justice said of the reported sentence: "The ministry would like to announce that it is utterly incorrect".
