14th November 2010 - Electric cars for those in need of help on Jamarat Bridge

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has provided 124 electric cars to convey the elderly, disabled and women along the Jamrat Bridge in Mina. "Each car can accommodate 14 pilgrims at a time and will ferry pilgrims from their tents to the bridge and then back."
