The first train of the Mashair Railway will be flagged off at 12 a.m. early Monday. "The nine trains have a capacity to transport 30,000 pilgrims an hour. Each train is 300 meters in length. When the SR6.65 billion project is completed, there will be 20 trains in service carrying up to 72,000 pilgrims an hour. They are projected to transport more than half a million pilgrims in 10 hours".
