Islamabad, Dhu Al-Hijjah 05, 1431 H/Nov. 11, 2010, SPA -- An oldest Muslim woman in the Indian subcontinent plans to come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year.
Pakistani 'Geo News' Channel said today that Ms. Munni Begum at the age of 120 years will be the world's oldest lady to perform Hajj.
It added that Begum was born on 14th of August 1890 in Jaipur-Rajistan region of India and enjoys physical fitness to enable her to perform the Hajj.
Hajj Committee in Jaipur-Rajistan issued a special permission to Begum in recognition of her age and strong desire to perform the Hajj and visit the mosque of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, the Channel reported.
The elderly Indian Muslim woman has lived in three centuries and has 8 sons and daughters and dozens of grand children.
