11th November 2010 - No Saudi female athletes at Asian Games

No Saudi female athletes will compete at the Asian Games which start on 13th November because of the Saudi prohibition on the mixing of the sexes. AFP sees irony in this situation, given the Kingdom's seat on the board of the UN's new super agency tasked with protecting and promoting women's interests around the world.
