In response to reports that Iran is preventing Iranian pilgrims from performing Umrah, an officail spokesman for the Ministry of Hajj has made it clear that, if Iran wishes to impose such a ban, it is an internal matter for Iran. The Kingdom does not interfere in other countries internal affairs. At the same time, the spokesman made it clear that it was the highest priority of the Kingdom to enable all pilgrims from wherever they came to perform pilgrimage in comfort and security.
