15th January 2010 - Senior Qaeda Figures Killed in Attack, Yemen Says (NYT)

Yemeni officials claim that a recent airstrike in a mountain region close to the Saudi border killed five senior members of Al Qaeda in Yemen. Amongst those said to have been killed is Qassim al-Raymi, a leading Al Qaeda strategist and commander. His death has yet to be confirmed.
