One of the world's largest untapped oil fields which lies in Iraq has been awarded to Royal Dutch Shell and the Malaysian company Petronas. With the development of this and other Iraqi fields experts predict Iraq could rival the two largest exporters, Saudi Arabia and Russia, in the volume of oil exported.
