According to the IHT, thousands of Saudis living in the Saudi-Yemeni border area have been forced to flee the fighting that has broken out between Saudi forces and Yemeni rebels, known as the Houthis. Last month, the Houthis seized some Saudi land. "Saudi Arabia, a staunch U.S. ally and the world's top oil exporter, fears al Qaeda is using instability in impoverished Yemen to set up havens there from which to target the kingdom."
