9th November 2009 - Yemen Rebels Routed, Saudi Arabia Says (NYT)

In the five year long struggle between the Yemeni Government and the Yemeni Houthi rebels, fighting has spilled over into the border region of Saudi Arabia. The rebels claim to have captured several Saudi soldiers, while an unofficial Saudi spokeman said that Saudi forces had "hammered the rebels with airstrikes and artillery fire, and captured about 280 rebel fighters".
