Saudi Arabia has issued a warning against any activities during this year's Hajj which could distract pilgrims from their devotions and cause disunity amongst Arabs from different branches of Islam. Iran has not been menioned in the Saudi warnings but Iran has, in the past, used the Hajj as an opportunity for political demonstrations and has made remarks prior to this Hajj which have prompted the Saudi warning.
