26th June 2009 - Iran’s Oil Exports So Far Spared by Protests

Oil market fears that tensions in Iran may adversely affect oil exports and thus put pressure on the oil price are ill-founded, given that Saudi Arabia's spare and idle oil production capacity (an additional 4 million barrels a day) is greater that Iran's total daily export of oil.
