14th June 2009 - Yemen says arrests Saudi financer of al Qaeda

A Saudi national, Hassan Alwan, alleged to be Al Qaeda's main paymaster in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, has been arrested by the Yemeni authorities. There are fears that north Yemen could become the base for renewed terrorism in Saudi Arabia.
