An Israeli enquiry into the killing of a Palestinian doctor's three daughters has concluded they were killed by Israeli shells. The killings casued horror and outrage across the Arab world. Israel has suggested that there were "suspicious figures" in the building, The doctor repudiated claims that there were any militants in the building.
