In a review of the world's reaction to the inauguration of President Obama, the Washington Post noted some early warning signs of resistance. "A prominent Saudi prince, Turki al-Faisal, declared in Britain's Financial Times that if the United States wants to preserve its strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia, 'it will have to drastically revise its policies vis-a-vis Israel and Palestine'."
