21st October 2008 - Saudis Charge 991 With Terrorism (NYT)


Almost one thousand suspected terrorists have been indicted by the Saudi Arabian authorities on charges of involvement in a number of terrorist plots in the Kingdom over the last few years. Interior Minister Prince Naif said the accused had been responsible for more than 30 attacks in which 164 people had been killed, including 74 security officials.
