3rd October 2008 - Saudi Arabia can rein in the Taliban and al-Qaeda

Given its historical contacts with Osama bin Laden and its financial support for instituutions which have educated many Taleban fighters, Saudi Arabia is uniquely well-placed to rein in the excesses of the extremists in Afghanistan.
