6th July 2008 - Saudi man, woman face flogging for research work (WP)

A male boichemist and his female research student have been handed sentences involving jail and flogging for forming a "telephone" relationship which, it is alleged, led to the breakdown of the woman's marriage and to divorce. Human Rights groups are arguing that the case does not involve any recognisable criminal offence.
