28th April 2008 - Bush to visit Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt (NYT)

In a trip scheduled to run from 13 to 18 May, President Bush will take in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel. The tour is evidence of Bush's eagerness to press on with a Middle East peace initiative before his presidency ends. At the same time, while still pursuing his proposal for a viable Palestinian state, he plans to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Israel.
