10th April 2008 - Bush 'to speak on US Iraq course' (BBC)

Following the recommendation by General Petraeus that withdrawals of US troops from Iraq should be suspended, President Bush is expected to announce such a suspension later today. It is the general's view that progress has been made in Iraq, following the "surge", but there is much still to do.
