27th March 2008 - Pakistan tells U.S.: We are no longer your killing field (Grd)


Nawaz Sharif, the senior partner in Pakistan's new coalition government and previously living in Saudi Arabia under Saudi government protection, has told top United States' diplomats that Pakistan will no longer pay the price of bombed towns and villages in Pakistan to protect the United States. The new government, with the voice of a demoocratically elected parliament, has warned that decision will no longer be taken by one man but will be openly debated and decided democratically.
